LARPENTER, AILEEN MARIE RAIFORD ANDERSON
A resident of Sebring, Fla., and a native of Ponchatoula, she died Monday,Feb. 7, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident. She was 66.
Visitingat Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 12. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. Sunday,Feb. 13, until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Emmett Garrison. Interment in Collins Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons,Gilbert L. Larpenter Jr., Ponchatoula, and Dale Anderson, Salisbury, N.C.;four daughters, Sheila Anderson, Sebring, Paula McLeod, Lake Worth, Fla., Donna Ipock, Greenfield, Ind., and Gail Escobar, Sebring; three sisters, Annette Taylor, Hammond, Linda Lloyd, Springfield, and Patricia Ricks,Roseland; two brothers, Robert and Darrell Raiford, Ponchatoula; 12grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death byher first husband, Alfred V. Anderson; second husband, Gilbert L.Larpenter; parents, Richard and Juanita Raiford; and a grandson, Aaron McLeod.
She was a member of Sebring Church of the Nazarene, Sebring.

Carl Vining
I believe that this is one Uncle Carl's more serious moments. His teeth are where they should be!


VINING, CARL ANDERSONA retired millwright and a member of Local 720 in Baton Rouge, he died Monday, July 10, 2000, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 84 and a native and resident of Ponchatoula.
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Russell Vining. Interment in Collins Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Ruby Jean Traylor Vining, Ponchatoula; a daughter, Joy Elizabeth Eubanks, Spartanburg, S.C.; two sons, Carl David Vining, Folsom, and Russell Keith Vining, Ponchatoula; eight grandchildren, Jason Keith Vining, Steven Vining, Elizabeth Eubanks, James Vining, Chris Vining, Jonathan Eubanks, Nicholas Vining and Rebkah Vining; and four great-grandchildren, Joshua Vining, Benjamin Vining, Shawn Vining and Timothy Vining.
Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Elanor Vining; six sisters, Hilda Stanga, Helen Larpenter, Irene Anderson, Hattie Bosarge, Nellie Bazelle and Katie Bardwell; and a brother, Richard Willie Vining.
He wasa charter member of Bible Holiness Church, Ponchatoula, a member of National Rifle Association and honorary mayor of Bunker Hill.
